The set up to Morgan Page’s sophomore LP has been a long road.  Whereas his debut Elevate was his bridge from the bootleg underground to respected producer, Believe flexes his muscles as a bonafide artist and hit-maker, making good on his Grammy and International Dance Music Awards nominations.  With his breakout singles “The Longest Road”, “Call My Name”, “Fight For You” and loads of high-profile remixes for Madonna, Katy Perry and LaRoux, he’s earned a solid reputation for transferring insatiable pop energy to the dance floor in the form of banging, progressive house tracks.  Believe is filled with original songs, with the exception Morgan’s new single, the Pete Yorn cover “Strange Condition”, driven by lyrical and vocal collaborations with Elizabeth, who’s gritty intensity highlighted “The Longest Road”, “Fight For You” and Strange Condition”, Telepopmusik’s Angela McCluskey, Om recording artist Samantha James, Matt Alber, Jan Burton and Molly Bancroft. “I want to work with singer/songwriters who have depth to their lyrics, and I’m trying to bring influences in from other genres,” says Page, “This album is really a reflection of myself, and I want these songs to last a long time.”  Believe is out 2/23 on Nettwerk.
