So we all know Alison Goldfrapp and Will Gregory are diving Head First into the big 80’s from their over-the-top, fun, first single “Rocket”. The LP features 9 sugar-coated pop nuggets that borrow heavily from 80’s synth-pop and euro-disco and sound just a little bit dangerous channeled through Alison’s breathy purr. Cuts like “Alive”, “Believer” and “Shiny And Warm” make you wanna squeeze into those acid-washed skinny jeans and do something bad.
