Mad Decent founder Diplo, (M.I.A., Bonde Do Role who’s remixed Kanye West, Britney Spears, Radiohead) and Switch, founder of Dubsided Records (Santigold, Armand van Helden and Basement Jaxx) have joined forces for the club collaboration of the year. They’ve hooked up with Major Lazer, the renegade secret society soldier who fights the dark forces of evil with experimental lazers as prosthetic limbs, to produce Guns Don’t Kill People … Lazers Do. Encamped at lengendary Tuff Gong Studios in Jamaica, they recorded a collection of futuristic dancehall bangers ready to rock the party. From the first listen “Keep It Goin’ Louder” is a monster floor-filler with it’s digitized dancefloor drama featuring vocals by sister act Nina Sky & Ricky Blaze. The full remix package is finally all here. Electronic trailblazers Mixin’ Marc, Tommie Sunshine and Il Diablo add their own speical touch to the Original and Diplo Remix and now the brand new Superchumbo remixes have arrived.
