Skeleton

The Good Natured

Label: Astralwerks

Tags: drum & bass, dubstep, house, pop, synth

At the tender age of 20, Good Natured frontlady Sarah McIntosh is being hailed as “the one to watch” by critics and fans.  Influenced by her parents 80′s collection, she exudes the raw energy of a goth styled pixie in heat complete with jet black horror hair. With her guitarist brother Hamish McIntosh and drummer George Hinton they’ve become a major UK buzz band with EPs Warriors and Your Body Is A Machine.  The jittering, rip your clothes off energy of their stateside debut “Skeleton” is perfectly produced synth-punk-pop of old and new ala Siouxsie And The Banshees and Deluka  – like a whole lotta naughty tied off in a big, black bow, smeared with red lipstick. Remixes include Grum’s old school, tech-house festival stomper, the spacey dubstep of NFIFTYFIVE and Adeptus Versalife and Creep’s dark grinders.

“A treasure trove of sexually charged and goth-leaning electronic-pop gems” – The Boston Phoenix
“Serious pop music. Nothing less than sheer brilliance” – Arjan Writes”A compelling new talent” — The Sunday Times
“A talented and passionate force to be reckoned with”— The Fly
“Swirling, exciting synth pop” — The Times (London)
“An exciting prospect indeed” — Artrocker
“This is how pop should be done” — Time Out (London)

  • Grum remix is AMAZING!

    Matt Bailer

  • Adeptus Versalife remix is a dark and gorgeous down tempo alternative to the sugary (and almost cheesy) mainstream pop of the Grum mix. It also more closely reflects the singer's roots and influences, and is somewhat reminiscent of the Emperor Machine remix of The Knife's "Marble House".

    Ray Velasquez

  • I dig the Grum Remix.

    Tim Schommer

  • Grum is my absolute hands donwn favorite remixer in the past year or so and this remix is right up there with the best !
