Singer Maria Salandra had gotten a teensy bit sidetracked from her true passion of a solo singing career. The art and music major instead applied her creative degree to nail art with Finger Fitness, a bustling salon catering to celebrity clients and film and editorial work – her custom talons have shown up on Edie Falco in the Sopranos and Nicole Kidman among others. She’s still managed to be a favorite vocalist for Super Bowl champs The NY Giants, singing the National Anthem regularly at their opening games. Now with guidance from Grammy nominated songwriters Michael O’Hara and George Lyter (Donna Summer, CeCe Peniston, and Jody Watley) she is back on track. Salandra lets her impressive, high octave range loose on her new single with powerhouse remixes by Grammy nominee Mike Rizzo, Naked Highway and Atchison And McGowan (Curtis Atchison of Midnight Society and Reed McGowan). The single is also featured in the upcoming Malan Breton Fall 2012 runaway show for NYC Fashion Week.
